Woodlets Roastie Toasties 10 kg Bags

Roastie Toasties are broken-up Woodlets briquettes designed for easy lighting and consistent heat. Each 10 kg bag is packed with mixed-size pieces that burn hot and clean, making them suitable for wood burners, open fires and outdoor cooking.

Highlights

  • Ready-snapped briquettes: each piece weighs about 0.5 kg to 1 kg and can be broken to suit any stove size.
  • High energy and long burning: delivers around 4.8 kWh of heat per kilogram with moisture content under 10 %.
  • Low ash and Clean Air Act compliant: ash content is below 0.9 %, and the briquettes meet UK Clean Air Act standards.
  • 100 % sustainable UK timber: made from compressed softwood sawdust with no additives.
  • High-density compression: approximately 1,100 kg/m³, giving more fuel in every bag.
  • Versatile use: ideal for wood and multi-fuel stoves, open fires, chimineas, fire pits and BBQs.

Usage Recommendations

Load 1 – 3 briquettes at any given time depending on the size of your wood burner or stove. Because they burn hotter than logs and expand in the fire, do not overload your fire box. Filling about half the capacity is usually ideal, but try and see what works best for you.

How to Start a Fire

  1. Open the air flow fully.
  2. Place one or two wood firelighters in the middle of the grate and build with kindling a “jenga” or “tent” structure on top; light the firelighters.
  3. Close the door for a few minutes until a fire is properly established.
  4. Once established, add one log (or smaller parts of a log) to build your fire.
  5. When the fire is burning hot, lower the airflow.
  6. Refuel as required.

Important!

  • Do not overload your wood burner or stove; these briquettes burn much hotter than normal logs. Start with one briquette until you’re familiar with its performance.
  • Ensure the briquettes do not touch the glass of your stove and that the door is properly closed.

Appliance Recommendation

Recommended for all types of fireplaces, wood and multi-fuel stoves and log boilers.

Heat Release Time

The heat release time varies with air inflow settings, the number of briquettes loaded, outside temperature and appliance size. Burn time ranges from one hour to over four hours.
